Characters for combat and voyages
Character pools can contain a featured crewmate. The current planner models a 50% featured rate when a Black Ticket character result is not already guaranteed.
Live CN system · English explanation
Yes—the Chinese version uses randomized recruitment for crewmates and equipment-like Shadows of the Past. Recruitment is one system inside a broader ocean RPG; exploration, naval combat, city activities and turn-based battles are not reduced to pulls.
The mechanics below describe the live CN version checked by SorWiki. Global rates, currencies, guarantee rules and banner schedules have not been confirmed as identical.
Quick answer
Character pools can contain a featured crewmate. The current planner models a 50% featured rate when a Black Ticket character result is not already guaranteed.
Separate pools contain 往日之影, a CN equipment-like system. SorWiki retains the Chinese label because an official global English term has not been verified.
Current CN rules
These values are a versioned CN rules summary, not global launch terms. Recheck the live banner notice before spending.
Labels to recognise
A Black Ticket result triggers the top-rarity outcome tracked by SorWiki. Reaching Black Ticket pity does not by itself mean the result is the current featured target.
The current CN configuration guarantees Purple Ticket or higher within ten draws. A Black Ticket result also satisfies and resets the lower-grade cycle.
Do not merge banner state
F2P decision rule
“Free to play” does not mean every featured target is guaranteed on every schedule. SorWiki does not label the game pay-to-win without a defined mode, comparison method and current global rules.

The live Chinese version includes a recruitment system with random crewmate and Shadow of the Past results, rarity grades, pity and featured results. The game also contains exploration, naval combat, city systems and turn-based combat outside recruitment.
SorWiki’s current CN configuration uses an 80-draw hard pity for a Black Ticket result and a 10-draw guarantee for a Purple Ticket result or higher. Each banner keeps its own tracked state.
Hard pity guarantees the rarity result, not automatically the featured target. The documented CN character banner uses a 50% featured rate, while the documented Shadow banner uses 75%, with guarantee state applied after a missed featured result where supported.
That is not confirmed. Global rates, currencies, guarantees, selectors and schedules may differ, so CN rules should be treated as a preview rather than a promise.
